Sweet & Sour Slaw
An easy to make and serve very tasty, non mayo based coleslaw.
Ingredients
- 1/2 medium head of cabbage - chopped
- 1 cup carrot - shredded
- 1 small red onion - chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ground mustard (dry)
- 1/2 tsp celery seed
- 1/2 tsp salt
Methods/steps
- Combine chopped cabbage, carrot, and onion in a large bowl.
- Mix the restof the ingreients together and pour over the cabbage mixture.
- Cover and place in the refigerator for a minimum of three hours.
Additional Tips
The finer the chop the better the mixture
