Salmon with Lemon and Basil (Easy)
Fitness gurus and dietitians love salmon because it is low in fat and calories. I love to cook salmon for another reason, it's easy!
Ingredients

Nonstick cooking spray

1 1/2 pounds salmon fillet

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 1/2 teaspoon olive oil

1 teaspoon dried basil

2 tablespoons freshly chopped basil
Methods/steps

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Lightly coat a metal or glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place salmon skin side down in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with lemon, olive oil and dried basil.

Bake for 12 minutes without turning. (If salmon is thicker than 1 inch add 2 or 3 minutes to the cooking time.

Sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
