Easy Pork Chop & Yams
Description
A simple way to enjoy a nice Sunday Dinner.(or a yummy dinner after hard day at the office).
Ingredients
- 4 Pork Chops (your choice cut)
- 1 Large can Yams(drained)
- 1 finely sliced celery stalk (optional)
- 1 large can Campbells Cream of Mushroom soup.
- 1/8 teaspoon Allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
- Vegetable oil for browning Pork Chops
Methods/steps
- In medium to large mixing bowl, mix together soup, celery stalk, all spice, nutmeg. Add yams to mix and set aside.
- Brown pork chops in large skillet for 10 mins.
- Pour mixture of yams over pork chops.
- Stir and continue cooking for 45 mins.
- Stir occassionally.
Additional Tips
if you like a little zing to your Chops, add a few flakes of red chili peppers. Serve with a nice green salad and French bread.
