Dutch Cucumber Salad
Description
Quick side dish. A Pennsylvania Dutch favorite.
Ingredients
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 small onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons tarragon vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pint sour cream
Methods/steps
- Peel and slice cucumber and onion. Combine. Sprinkle with salt and allow to stand in the refrigerator for 3o minutes. Place in cheese cloth and squeeze out the water. Put into bowl;add vinegar, pepper and sour cream; toss together lightly and serve
