- Chicken boneless 1/2 kg cut in 1 inch cubes
- Salt 1 tsp
- Red chilies 1 tsp
- Ginger/ garlic paste 1 tsp
- Fresh cream 1/2 cup
- All spices 1 tsp
- Onion 1 large (boiled)
- Tomatoes boiled 4
- Butter 2 oz
- Oil 2 oz
- Powdered almonds 2 tsp
- Coconut powder 2 tsp
- Green chilies 4
- Curd 2 tsp
- Zeera roasted and crushed 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Methods/steps
- Blend onions with tomatoes. Heat oil and butter in a wok.
- Add ginger, garlic, onion and tomato puree, boneless chicken cubes with salt, red chilies and turmeric powder.
- Cook for 10 minutes with lid closed.
- When cooked, add almonds, coconut powder, all spices, curd and fresh cream and let simmer for 10 more mins.
- When oil starts forming on the top, add green chilies, ginger julienne and crushed zeera (cumin seeds).
- Serve with nan.
