Easy Sage Stuffing
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound butter
- 1/2 cup onion (chop fine)
- 1/2 cup celery chopped
- 8 cups dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- salt to taste
- 1 Tablespoon dry sage
Methods/steps
Melt the butter in a skilet. Stir in onion and celery cooking over low heat until the onion is soft. Add the mixture to the crumbs and remaining ingredients.
If stuffing a turkey, use a meat thermometer and cook until stuffing reaches an internal temperature of 165 FIf cooking seperate - bake in a buttered casserole dish at 350 F for 30 to 40 minutes.
Will stuff a large turkey.
